I'll bet you didn't know that Bakelite comes in soup cans. Here we have three huge toggles in bright red Bakelite. Back in 2015 I posted a smaller variation of these buttons in darkish green. The larger sized, red versions shown here are much more striking and impressive. These buttons, shaped like tin cans, go back to the Great Depression—when times were tough and soup was scarce.
