Barbed and bodacious, here's a button I've owned for years and yet it still blows my Bakelite-loving mind. Spiky to the max, this strange fascination is a jagged masterpiece of two layers. Both layers depict jagged pieces shooting outwards like a sawtoothed star. Color-wise, this wild baby rides the line between creamed-corn and butterscotch. A wicked button if there ever was one. Circa 1929.
