Smooth and arresting, this large Bakelite coat button in brightly clear apple juice is a total knockout. I wish this photo did the button justice. The lines are sharp and the overall effect is that of a grooved chunk of yellow glass—very snazzy and reflective like a gem that holds onto the light. The button is heavy and elegant and probably dates back to the 1930's. Sheer. Chic. Vintage. Quality. Glamor.
