My friend Doreen, who also buys/sells and collects rare buttons, sold me this Bakelite cookie button earlier this year and I definitely consider it a lucky find. Count on Doreen to track down all the gems. This red-bordered beauty is a true rarity inasmuch as the notches that go around the border equal a carved design that I've never seen before on a Bakelite cookie button. That said, I do believe this is a collector's dream item. From the 1930's.
