Grandma's Garden
This has got to be one of my favorite buttons! It's totally charming with its carved cluster of nine painted flowers—forming a sort of chocolate bouquet. The off-white paint rests beautifully on the Bakelite. And the etched shapes of the flowers, all gathered together, resemble an assortment of fluffy daisies—fit for a bride. This is an old button from the 1930's and a blossomy example of vintage design. Grandma's trinkets don't get much prettier.
