Creamed Corn Experiment
Here's a rare and peculiar button in creamed corn Bakelite. I look at the curious carvings on this oldie-but-goodie and can't help but wonder if someone in a button factory decided to have a little fun with the carving tools. I don't know how it worked back then in the 1920's-1930's, but I imagine a button craftsman (or craftswoman) was in an experimental mood when he or she cranked out this rare wonder with its strange cluster of doodles and lines. It almost looks like a trial study in Bakelite. An odd button with an abstract design.
