It's been a while since I've posted a trefoil button. Let's rectify that with today's post: a dandy keeper in tested and confirmed Bakelite and in one of my favorite colors...a deep and juicy maroon. With its three lobes and a faint trace of patina, this button emanates a lucky vibe. Interestingly enough, each lobe is etched with three little pockets—adding a nifty touch to this lovely plum. Circa 1930.
