In the dead of winter, here's a chunky old coat button encapsulating a glittery downfall of metallic snow. As if the flurry of suspended tinsel wasn't enough, this is a Bakelite button in apple juice with a carved surface depicting a cluster of pretty stems and flowers. I picture this gorgeous button on the white rabbit-fur jacket of a very chic lady, circa 1925.
