Welcome to the chocolate garden! Here we have two Bakelite coat buttons form the 1930's in a rich brown tone. Despite some unsightly scuffing, these old buttons exude a botanical charm with deeply carved leaves, stems and striped flower petals. It bums me out when I can't take a good picture for my blog and these not-so-photogenic buttons are a case in point. They're much prettier in person.
