Bakelite buttons are exciting to discover and collect, but what's even more satisfying is finding old Bakelite buttons with wooden elements. These three dudes are just the thing with strips of wooden inlay resting across Bakelite surfaces. Spiffy and unique, somehow two green ones found their way into my stash. But here's the kicker: next month, for all of April, I'll be posting nothing but Bakelite and wood combo buttons. Brace yourselves, button fans. That's piles of plastic and a ton of timber.
