Toggle Tuesday: Militaristic Reds

Take shelter, friends! These art deco bomb buttons are ready to drop. I've posted buttons like these before, but never in bright red. They are toggleselongated textile closures that work like buttons. These tested positive for Bakelite and they are true examples of the Jazz Age style that came out of the 1920's and 1930's. Every month I like to celebrate toggles with a "Toggle Tuesday" post, but if you follow this blog, you already know that. I've always called these type of toggles "bomb buttons" because they remind me of military-issued explosives.
