A button has to be something special for me to put it in on an easel...and here we are. This new addition to my collection is a medium-sized button in creamed corn Bakelite with a flower-rimmed border and heaps of vintage charm. To top if off, this bonny token is inlaid with a circular piece of faux mother-of-pearl. Like the button I posted yesterday, the imitation MOP is past its glory days. Time has taken its toll. The embellishment is a bit scuffed and lackluster, but that's to be expected on a button that's approximately 85 years old. Uphold the imperfections!
