Honestly, if this dark chocolate button was nestled in a box of sweets, I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference between this Bakelite goody and the real truffles and bonbons. The color of the Bakelite here isn't quite espresso, but it's very dark with a jot of patina in those luscious grooves. The wavy carvings on this dreamy nugget really are quite eye-catching. circa 1927.
