Here's a Bakelite button made of a red plate and a bright creamed corn ball—an "orb and platter" if you please. The metal shank on the back of the button is pierced through the red plate and is drilled into the yellow ball, keeping this old button tightly intact. Going back to the famous fun of the 1920's, this two-piece prize is a clownish treasure and cute souvenir from the olden days.
