Black Bakelite. Isn't it something? This old button gives prominence to a gorgeous perimeter of eight upraised mounds carved with slats. At its excellently geometric center, eight circular dips have been carved around a star-shaped design. Going back to the Great Depression, this sizable coat button is hardly depressing! A licorice nugget, it's incredibly chunky and and pretty darn charming to boot.
