Rippled Brown

Here's a chocolately button in rich, brown Bakelite that likely goes back to the 1930's. Showcasing two types of carvings, there's a leafy plant stalk on one end and a smooth group of ripples on the other. The ripples look like someone slicked their finger right into the Bakelite as if it were fudge frosting on a cake. Mmm, Mmm good! This old button is delicious to look at.
