Today is March 9th and here's the third installment in my annual "marigold series" following buttons similar to this one posted last year and the year before. This one's a bloomy rootbeer button in true Bakelite with a rubescent glow. Shape-wise, this flower explodes with character, its smooth petals flared around a highly textured center. That's three marigold buttons for three years in a row—and one more to come in 2019 (a year from today).
