Back on Halloween in 2017, I posted five bright orange Bakelite buttons in the shapes of fingernails. I hadn't seen buttons like them before and I haven't seen them since, but I recently found this green version—all by itself with the same scaly carvings highlighted by more than a trace of golden patina. Not an easy thing to find, it's a witch's finger and an emerald doozy of a button. Made in the 1920's.
