Now here's a real bizarro button that I've been saving for a very special edition of Toggle Tuesday. My friend Doreen sold me this toggle ages ago and I've always viewed it as one of my strangest buttons. It resembles a barbell with a shiny (and shanked) aluminum rod capped at both ends with rounded bumpers made of apple juice Bakelite. With minimal scuffing and a sturdy composition, the button remains firm and untarnished—even though it likely goes back to the 1940's.
