Bakelite+Wood #19
Unlike the buttons I posted yesterday with the Bakelite on top of the wood, this button is set up conversely with the wooden sections resting on top of the Bakelite. I can't identify the wood, but the Bakelite is a classic shade of tortoise, aka rootbeer. The wood is sectioned into a peripheral ring as well as the button's centerpiece. Owing to its thickness, it was easy to get this button to stand on edge with the sunlight streaming through the golden-brown plastic. A real zinger from the 1930's.
