Normally I only create a "Toggle Tuesday" post once a month, but I can't help but share a second round of toggles this month with these unusual cookies. Look at these colorful snacks! All made with the typical creamed corn tone that we commonly see in cookie buttons, these yummy oddities also boast black, maroon and green. The black toggle looks to me like a smart nut. The maroon button could be a drizzle of raspberry jam on a piece of butter. And the nifty green toggle is an avocado log bisected by a bright sprocket. This merry threesome goes back to the 1930's. A delicious batch of Bakelite cookies.
